The Algerian for Textile Industries TAYAL, S.P.A is a joint venture established in Algeria since November 2013, founded by the companies C&H Group, TEXALG, and MADAR Holding, with INTERTAY of the Turkish textile group TAY GROUP.The project is spread over an area of 2,500,000 sqm for its first phase, of which a portion of 1,000,000 sqm is already completed. Over 400,000 sqm is indoor area, in the form of 20 blocks and units.TAYAL is currently home to over 2,000 employees, and plans to quickly reach 10,000 employees at its full capacity.
Capacities
Having over 60 years of textile industry experience, the partners decided to join forces and create one of the few vertically integrated textiles plants in the world, starting from cotton fiber to ready-to-wear garments, going through all the stages of cotton transformation, and consuming a around 40,000 tons of cotton annually.
Potential
TAYAL has a production potential of 36,000 tons of yarn, 50 million meters of woven fabric, 5,000 tons of knitted fabric, and up-to 30 million ready-to-wear pieces of garment annually.

The Algerian for Textile Industries was founded with the vision of positioning Algeria -in collaboration with its partners- as a producer and exporter of high-quality textiles, and making the “Made in Algeria” label an international benchmark for quality.
